A small studio built around each student.
Étude is a neighbourhood classical music school. We teach piano, violin, cello and classical voice to children, teenagers and adults, one student at a time.

We start by listening.
Before we plan a single exercise, your teacher asks what you enjoy, what feels hard and what you’d like to be playing in a year’s time.
From there, lessons build steadily towards pieces that feel worth practising. Some students prepare for exams or auditions; others play purely for pleasure.
Performing together matters too. Each term our informal recitals give students a friendly place to share what they have learned.
Meet our teachers.
